The process to get a void egg is somewhat randomized. The player can get one after an event where overnight a witch flies over the player’s coop and leaves a void egg behind. This happens only when the player has upgraded the coop to a Big Coop. The caravan due south might also have a void egg for sale. The odds of this are randomized.

After getting the void egg, put it in the incubator and a new void chicken will come out. It will lay void eggs everyday provided it is kept healthy. The cost of a void egg is 50 gold coins.
