This is a historic day for gamers. After anticipating Team ICO’s third project since 2008, head of PlayStation Shuhei Yoshida announced a few hours ago on Twitter that The Last Guardian has finally gone gold. Certainly, a day to remember.

Regardless of your interest in playing it, you have to appreciate the long, hazardous development this title’s had with many delays and system switches (it was originally going to release on PS3).

The Last Guardian is now ready to be put into a disc and sold starting December 6. Check out 16 minutes of raw gameplay here.
