Warhammer-Vermintide 2: Illusion Guide

There is a weapon ability known as Illusion and not much is explained by the game about it leaving many players confused. Illusion is basically a removable weapon skin which allows you to keep the same look of the weapon even after you upgrade it or switching it to a new one. This guide will explain Illusions in the game.

To perform operations with illusions, you need to find the forge. Go to the start point and go down the door on your left. Interact with the forge there. Go to the Crafting tab to find yourself at the Salvage Screen. There will be an extremely poor UI design there with the Next and Previous buttons being extremely tiny so be on the lookout for them.

Use the Next button to go over to the 6th screen labelled Extract Illusions. You can extract an illusion from here from an item for 20 scrap. Destroy unwanted items on the Salvage screen to generate scrap. Now, go again to the seventh screen named Apply Weapon Illusion. Here, you can apply the illusion to any weapon in your inventory and also change its base appearance.

Warhammer-Vermintide 2 Guide: Heroic Power Guide

Heroic Power is a value/stat in the game which determines if you take on increasingly difficult quests and tasks. So, its important to know about this value and how to boost it. This guide will serve as a guide for the Heroic Power system in the game.

Each of the five different character classes in the game have their own unique individual Heroic Power Level. Go over to the mission board in the Keep hub. You can launch a quick play match from here with three other people or bots to play a mission with. Choose the Select Difficulty option to see that there are three of them – Recruit, Veteran and Champion. You gain more XP from completing the mission on Veteran and Champion mode. However, these modes are locked behind Heroic Power Levels of 120 and 220 respectively.

So, how to increase this level? The Heroic Power is linked to the gear that is armour, weapons and equipment items that the character has currently equipped. Go into an online game and play the match to get better gear and equipment to increase your power level. You will need to go into the forge to equip the newly earned better weapons. You can also compare the power level of the items you have in the forge. Use better gear and your power level shoots up in no time.
