Forza Horizon 5 is the newest installment in the casual open-world racing series with hundreds of challenges and story missions. The action of the new part is set in Mexico, which is reflected in the change of dynamic climatic seasons and weather phenomena – sandstorms, tropical storms, and hellish heat, testing the strength of the car’s cooling system. The open-world lets you create your forms of entertainment, including new modes, challenges, stunts, obstacle course races, and more.

You will visit deserts, dense jungles, historic cities, lost ruins, pristine beaches, deep gorges, and a high, snow-covered volcano. But also as elements of race tracks, requiring unique cross-country ability and high-speed qualities from cars.

A massive campaign awaits you with hundreds of challenges for every taste. Meet new characters and go through their storylines to the end. You will encounter the amazing natural phenomena of Mexico: dust storms and tropical downpours. Along with the change of seasons, the world of the game also changes every week.

Virtual racers will have at their disposal more than a hundred of the best cars in the world and a spacious garage for repair and modification of equipment. The choice of cars is traditionally huge, ranging from buggies and SUVs to supercars with monstrous V-shaped engines.

Competitive and cooperative activities are now centered in the Horizon Arcade hub, where players can chat, seek mates and join races without waiting or loading screens. Each race or challenge with a dozen riders can be customized in detail and set the difficulty or rules for victory. Joint rides are traditionally dedicated to exploring the beautiful world and are designed to enjoy the ride.

Gameplay and Controller

The Xbox presentation at Gamescom 2021 showed a lot of new gameplay of the Forza Horizon 5 open-world arcade racing game. The demo was dedicated to several crazy scenarios at once. First, in 2021, the Ford Bronco Badlands landed from an airplane and drove along the top of a snow-covered volcano. Then they showed a trip through a sandstorm and moved on to a ride through a rainforest. The presentation ended with a race between the Mercedes AMG-1 at full speed and the aircraft. The first fan ride is definitely over eight minutes of gameplay. It represents the very beginning of the game, during which, among other things, we slide down the side of a volcano and “face” a sandstorm to find the location of the Horizon Festival.

Also unveiled a limited edition Xbox Series controller inspired by Forza Horizon 5, featuring vibrant acid colors, a translucent front panel, and rubberized grips. The accessory will go on sale alongside Forza Horizon 5 on November 8 this year.
