Microsoft has just announced that it will be partnering with top-tier PC makers to develop Windows 10 VR headsets. The announcement comes from today’s Microsoft Event, and one part of the wording is interesting: “[Microsoft] is partnering with top PC makers to build a range of innovative VR headsets.” We’re certainly intrigued by how they’ll innovate, but a “range” suggests there will be more than one virtual reality headset coming from Microsoft. The official picture shows two marginally different designs.

These Windows 10 VR headsets would be tentatively releasing in 2017 starting at $299.
