If you are a strategy game lover, you must have played or heard about the popular XCOM franchise. And if that is so, you must also have heard of the XCOM: Long War mod. The team behind this great mod has now branded itself under the name of Long War Studios.
As expected, Long War Studios’ first game will be a strategy. Their new title is called Terra invicta which is based upon saving the earth from an alien invasion. This is a safe move for sure. Rather than making an XCOM clone, Long War Studios’ focus is on overall strategy and theater-level planning.
Terra invicta however is in its early stages of development. A Kickstarter campaign is what we expect next.
