The upcoming expansion for The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine now has an official release date. It will be releasing on May 31, a day later than was rumored yesterday. A short teaser trailer has been released by CD Projekt Red and the embargo has also lifted from Blood and Wine coverage.
The new expansion will add 30+ hours of content and for the first time will take players outside of the main areas in the base game, to the colourful land of Toussaint. The map is said to be as big as that of Skellige and from a graphical standpoint looks stunning. The expansion also adds new NPCs with their own stories to tell and new monsters to tackle. Toussaint has been described as “a remote land untouched by war, where you will unravel the horrifying secret behind a beast terrorizing the kingdom”.
